Abstract
|
|
|
Benign tumor of small bowel is rare and it´s incidence is about 0.1% of all intestinal tumors. And leiomyoma is about 20% in the small bowel tumors.
It´s true etiology is unknown and more prevalent in male. About 15% of benign leiomyoma change to malignancy.
The symptom and signs so vague that the diagnosis is very difficult. The treatment remains only surgical removal.
